Asphalt Crew Maintenance Driver II

The St. Louis County Department of Parks and Recreation Asphalt Crew is currently seeking two (2) motivated individuals to join our team.

The typical starting salary range is $21.49–$25.78 per hour depending on qualifications and experience. We offer a competitive benefits package and a generous paid time off (PTO) policy.

• Operate heavy equipment, vehicles and machinery requiring a Commercial Drivers License for maintenance activities.
• Perform general roadway or grounds maintenance and sign manufacturing, installation, and service on a specialized crew.
• Repair and replace asphalt roadways and surfaces.
• Maintain, repair, or install concrete structures or surfaces.

• Care for and clean designated indoor and outdoor areas.
• Provide care and propagation for trees, shrubs, turf and plants.
• Remove snow and ice.
• Lead lower level workers operating heavy equipment.
• Perform administrative tasks associated with work completion.

Possession of a valid Class A CDL and two years of experience in general maintenance or related work, or an equivalent amount of training and experience.
