Refrigeration Consultant

Grifols is seeking a Refrigeration Consultant to support ABC Healthcare facilities in maintaining safe, reliable cold-storage systems critical to patient care. In this role, you will assess, design, and optimize medical refrigeration systems for labs, pharmacies, and clinical areas, ensuring regulatory compliance and energy efficiency. You will conduct site evaluations, troubleshoot complex issues, develop preventative maintenance standards, and train on-site staff.

Collaborating with clinical, facilities, and vendor teams, you'll recommend upgrades, document technical findings, and support implementation of innovative, patient-focused solutions nationwide.

Responsibilities

• Assess and design medical refrigeration systems for healthcare facilities
• Conduct on-site evaluations and performance audits of refrigeration equipment
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex refrigeration and controls issues
• Develop and standardize preventive maintenance plans and procedures
• Ensure compliance with healthcare, safety, and environmental regulations
• Recommend system upgrades and energy-efficient improvements
• Prepare technical reports, documentation, and specifications
• Train facilities and clinical staff on proper operation and maintenance
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors on installations and repairs
• Support multi-site implementation of refrigeration standards and best practices
