Shift Leader III Custodial

Overview

The Shift Leader is responsible for safely performing contract duties as assigned by management. Quality customer service is expected at all times, and knowledge and willingness to learn all aspects of the job is required.

• Must have a minimum of three (3) years of experience in custodial or related services.
• Must have a minimum of one (1) year of experience in a lead or supervisory role.
• Must be able to work independently as needed to support the group effort.
• Must be able to interact appropriately with customers and team members.
• Must be physically able to perform general tasks detailed in the assigned contract.
• Must pass organization screening requirements, including state or federal background screenings, as appropriate.

May travel to and from various locations and buildings throughout the year and in various weather conditions. Most work will take place indoors, involving cleaning chemicals and following the Emergency Operations Work Assignment for customer requirements. Schedules are subject to change.

While performing this job’s duties, the team member is regularly required to bend, crouch, walk, climb stairs and ladders, reach above head, and lift up to 40 pounds. May be required to assist in lifting equipment and move furniture, occasionally lifting or moving up to 50 pounds.
