Our Mechanic role will be primarily overnight shifts, working 11pm – 7am. This role is responsible for providing shift coverage and ensuring the reliable operation and maintenance of the hotel’s facilities and equipment. Also responsible for the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of the facility’s swimming pool and related systems. This position requires demonstrated knowledge of commercial pool maintenance, water chemistry, and pool equipment operation.

The technician ensures that all pool areas meet or exceed health, safety, and sanitation standards at all times. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills across all areas of the property, including guest rooms, meeting spaces, front‑of‑house and back‑of‑house operations, as well as kitchen, laundry, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC systems. The Mechanic will also perform preventive maintenance on major equipment and building systems to support a safe, comfortable, and efficient environment for guests and colleagues.

Qualified candidates should possess a strong working knowledge of all major building systems, including life‑safety systems. Experience in operating and maintaining commercial pool equipment and knowledge of commercial pool water chemistry, sanitation standards, and chemical handling procedures. The ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics is preferred, and a minimum of five years of building maintenance experience is highly desirable.
