As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for maintaining hotel facilities, including the physical building structure, all mechanical, electrical, HVAC systems, and related equipment in accordance with maintenance programs. You are enthusiastic, helpful, and dedicated to providing an exceptional guest experience through an expansive knowledge of all types of mechanical equipment and the maintenance of the grounds.
ResponsibilitiesOversee the upkeep of property, including the physical structure, mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems, in line with maintenance programs.
- Perform a variety of maintenance tasks in guest rooms and public areas, including painting, wallpaperapplication, furniture repairs, and resolving service requests.
- Receive and prioritize work assignments from the General Manage rand coordinate with departments like Housekeeping and Front Office to complete projects efficiently.
- Ensure all work complies withhotel safety protocols and OSHA standards,maintaininga safe and efficient work environment.
- Conduct regular inspections of the property toidentifymaintenance issues, safety hazards, and cleanliness concerns, addressing them proactively.
- Organize,maintain, and properly storetools, equipment, and materials to ensure availability for daily operations.
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest maintenance requests and work orders,maintaininga high standard of service.
- Accurately complete paperwork, update work order systems, and relay necessary follow-up information before shift changes.
- Follow all hotel policies, including those related to safety, attendance, service, and key control protocols.
- Supervise and work collaboratively with team members and other departments, taking onadditionalduties or special projects as assigned to support hotel operations.
- Maintain knowledge of andcomply with departmental policies, service procedures, 4 Keys service standards, and safety and security procedures.
- Develop and implementa preventive maintenance schedule for rooms, equipment, and facilities using Transcendent
- Perform alladditionalduties as assigned by management.
- Understand the mission, vision, and goals of the hotel.
- Must be able to prioritize and work efficiently with limited supervision.
- Must be detail oriented and able to multi-task efficiently.
- Must be able to speak and understand and communicate the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
- Safety requirements of PPE as needed for duty assigned and withuseof required tools and equipment.
The minimum physical requirements for this position include but are not limited to:
- Must be able to lift and/or carry up to50 poundsfrequentlytoassistguests
- Ability to standand walkfor extended periods of time
- Ability to hear, understand and communicate orally and in writing to communicate with staff,vendors,and guests a normal in-person and phone conversation
- Ability to bend and twist,push,and pull, stoop, and kneel
- Ascend and descend a ladder
