B. Miller Medical Center - - Responsibilities:
Assists the Supervisor in planning and performing preventive maintenance on all buildings and equipment;
Repairs the buildings and equipment as needed due to failure or routine deterioration;
Takes immediate action on any safety issues within the facility to ensure resident and staff safety;
Reports any maintenance issued to the Maintenance Supervisor that cannot be repaired by Maintenance Department;
Inspects all electrical equipment yearly for safety and compliance with hospital standards, state licensing and TJC;
Assists the Supervisor with implementing and enforcing safety and fire policies and procedures by conducting safety inspections and fire drills;
Assists with staff training as needed;
Other duties as assigned
