TSE Industries in Tampa, FL seeks a Maintenance Technician I to support a custom plastics and rubber manufacturing facility. This role performs preventive and corrective maintenance on production and facility equipment, including mechanical, pneumatic, and basic electrical systems. You'll troubleshoot issues, complete work orders, and assist with installations while following strict safety, lockout/tagout, and quality standards. Work closely with production teams in a family-owned, innovative environment that values technical growth, reliability, and long-term employee relationships.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems
- Troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, and basic electrical issues to minimize downtime
- Inspect machinery, conveyors, and production lines for wear, safety, and performance
- Complete work orders, maintenance logs, and basic documentation accurately
- Assist with equipment installations, adjustments, and minor upgrades
- Follow safety procedures, lockout/tagout, and company quality standards
- Collaborate with production teams to prioritize repairs and support shift needs
- Maintain tools, parts, and work areas in clean, organized condition
