JOB SUMMARY:Coordinates and directs custodial or groundskeeping activities.
JOB DUTIES:- 5 Public service:
Provide arealocal information for exhibitors for area attractions University information and facility information - 40 Event Preparation:
Follow defined protocols for varied events to establish lighting sound seating and show ring preparations and maintenance in multiple venues at the Arena complex - 30 Grounds maintenance:
Operate farm equipment to prepare show rings for multiple disciplines Move and set up equipment using skid steer loader Operate water truck for non potable water used for irrigation of show rings Stall turnover - 15 Facility maintenance:
Ensure facilities are clean before and during daily events This includes janitorial duties in assembly areas and waste management and trash in animal housing areas - 10 Safety security:
Identify public safety risks and perform corrective maintenance Inspect all building and grounds daily for repair and maintenance requirements

Minimum Requirements:A high school diploma and custodial or groundskeeping experience directly related to the area of employment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:- JOB KNOWLEDGE:
Fundamental working knowledge of concepts, practices and procedures and ability to apply in varied situations. - SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervises Student workers only - BUDGETARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
No fiscal responsibility for the department's budget.

- Expected Salary Range: 30000 - 40000
- Salary is dependent upon several factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's previous experience, knowledge, skills and performance in accordance with Clemson's compensation guidelines.
Essential Support - In the event of an emergency closure or modified operations, this position is necessary to maintain/resume essential support functions, deliver direct care services, and/or provide recovery support before normal operations resume. Some positions in this category may be required to work remotely or be on-call.
