The (USA) Technician, Facility Services, Exterior Services-DOT, is responsible for maintaining safe, clean, and efficient exterior facility operations. This role ensures compliance with safety and environmental regulations while managing equipment, performing seasonal maintenance, and coordinating repairs. The technician supports cost control through procurement and warranty management, leads third-party providers, and delivers quality service to meet facility needs. This position requires strong problem-solving skills, adherence to company policies, and collaboration with management to uphold operational standards and promote continuous improvement in facility services.

What you'll do:

* Operate and maintain heavy machinery and powered equipment following safety and certification standards.

* Perform seasonal exterior maintenance including snow and ice management to ensure safe facility conditions.

* Conduct quality assurance inspections and troubleshoot facility issues to meet operational and safety requirements.

* Manage vehicle maintenance, inspections, and documentation to ensure readiness and compliance.

* Coordinate purchases of parts, materials, and equipment while controlling costs and submitting warranty claims.

* Lead and develop third-party providers and associates through coaching and performance evaluations.

* Implement upgrades and improvements to enhance facility sustainability and reduce operating expenses.

What you'll bring:

* Proven experience operating and maintaining heavy machinery and powered equipment safely and efficiently.

* Strong knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards.

* Ability to manage budgets, including cost estimation, purchase approvals, and expense tracking.

* Skilled in troubleshooting, quality assurance inspections, and resolving facility-related issues promptly.

* Effective leadership and coaching capabilities to develop third-party providers and team members.

* Proficient in coordinating seasonal exterior maintenance, including snow and ice management.

* Excellent communication skills to address customer needs and collaborate with management and support teams.
