Maintenance Assistant

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Maintenance Assistant to join our team in Cleveland, GA. The ideal candidate will support the maintenance department by performing routine maintenance tasks, assisting with repairs, and ensuring that facilities and equipment are kept in good working order.

• Assist with routine maintenance and repair tasks including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building upkeep.
• Perform inspections of facilities and equipment to identify issues and report them to the maintenance supervisor.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance tools and work areas.
• Support installation and assembly of equipment as needed.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
• Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Assist with inventory management of maintenance supplies and materials.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in maintenance or a related field is preferred but not required.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems is a plus.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required.

This position involves working both indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions. The Maintenance Assistant may be required to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings or weekends, depending on maintenance needs.
