• Cleans and dusts areas such as suites, offices, classrooms, kitchens, living spaces, laboratories, lobbies, museums, locker rooms, stairways, corridors and elevators.
• Make beds as required.
• Dust, mop and wet mop floors.
• Cleans and polishes furniture and cleans inside windows on floor level.
• Cleans and maintains restrooms and bathrooms.
• Clean glass, chalkboards, display cases, interior partitions and light fixtures which are reachable from the floor.
• Refill toilet paper, paper towel and soap dispensers.
• Clean and polish hardware such as doors, woodwork, door handles, push plates, kick plates, metal handrails and drinking fountains.
• Vacuums and spot clean rugs.
• Remove and clean floor mats and entrance rug runners.
• Maintain custodial and storage areas in a clean orderly manner.
• Maintain adequate supply of cleaning equipment, materials and supplies.
• Use cleaning tools such as mops, brooms, squeegees, cleaning cloths, sponges, pails, brushes, vacuum cleaners, etc.
• Turn in found articles in accordance with University policy.
• Remove waste paper baskets and containers, and empty them into trash containers and clean area after trash has been picked up.
• Remove snow, ice and litter from building entrances or sweep same.
• Report all repairs required and safety and fire hazards to building secretary and immediate supervisor.
• Observe safety standards and practices.
• Lift and carry objects of at least 30-60 pounds unassisted.
• Perform related duties as required or assigned within job classification.

• Minimum of one year in cleaning services or related type work.
• Ability to read, write and follow written instructions.
• Must have a valid US driver's license.

Hourly, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

• Ability to read, write and follow written instructions.
• Must have a valid US driver's license.

• Minimum of one year in cleaning services or related type work.
