Job Title:
Maintenance Supervisor
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead and manage skilled craftspeople, apprentices, and laborers in the repair and maintenance activities. You will be responsible for ensuring maintenance activities during your shift, troubleshooting equipment issues, and directing safety programs.
Pay range: $105,000 - $115,000 per year, plus overtime compensation and bonus potential.
Responsibilities- Coach, supervise, and train skilled craftspeople, apprentices, and laborers.
- Assume accountability for maintenance activities during respective shifts.
- Perform frontline troubleshooting activities on equipment.
- Direct safety awareness programs and maintain housekeeping standards.
- Plan and provide resources for maintenance, preventative maintenance, and capital work.
- Perform root cause analysis and use '5-why' techniques to reduce downtime.
- Partner with the Engineering Department to improve equipment reliability.
- Develop and manage maintenance work procedures and standard practices.
- Drive continuous improvement activities to eliminate waste and enhance safety.
- Assist other Maintenance Supervisors as needed.
- Manage labor issues effectively within the work area.
- Perform administrative tasks to manage the workforce.
- Communicate with upper-level management and collaborate with contractors, vendors, and hourly employees.
- Must be open to working all shifts for coverage.
- 3+ years of Maintenance Supervision experience.
- 1+ years of leadership in a Union Manufacturing facility.
- Experience in Industrial trades such as Electrician, Millwright, or Industrial Maintenance Technician.
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
Permanent position based in Cleveland, OH.
