Floater/Fill-in Cleaner

Join Platinum Cleaning & Facility Services (PCFS), a division of Healthcare Services Group, Inc., as a Floater/Fill-in Cleaner. Responsibilities include overseeing janitorial cleaning and facilities maintenance operations at your assigned primary site and covering shifts across multiple sites as needed.

Starting from USD $17.75/Hr.

• Inspect all restrooms, re-stock supplies, disinfect high‑touch areas, and perform any cleaning necessary for overall cleanliness.
• Receive, acknowledge, and complete work orders assigned during shift.
• Respond to management requests in a timely manner and adjust schedule based on client needs or management requests.
• Check elevator cabs and disinfect call buttons according to the schedule.
• Proactively address cleaning issues in common areas, remove trash from receptacles, and clean spills promptly.
• Communicate clearly with the Account Supervisor or Account Manager.
• Clean scuff marks from walls, furniture, baseboards, etc., and clean and disinfect private restrooms.
• Vacuum carpet in detail, including hard‑to‑reach areas, and maintain storage closets cleaned and organized.
• Maintain cleaning tools and equipment in good working condition and report malfunctions.
• Perform project work such as cleaning lights, lamps, window washing, and similar tasks.
• Cover floors when employees call off, clean stairwells, signage, escalators, and elevators.
• Use miscellaneous flooring equipment as needed and assist the team lead and supervisor with any tasks.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Adapt to work as a team to ensure daily tasks, project work, requests, and work orders are completed on time and meet company expectations.
• Be polite and respectful with clients, guests, and co‑workers.

No experience required. Some experience preferred.

Must be 18 years of age.

Part‑time or full‑time non‑exempt (hourly) position.

• Ability to lift items up to 25 lbs while moving around and perform other physical duties such as climbing ladders, lifting, and bending.
