What's a typical day as a Janitor?

You'll be:
• Providing routine cleaning services in campus buildings and residence halls, including restrooms, bathrooms, offices, classrooms, laboratories, and public areas.
• Emptying waste baskets and recycling
• Spot cleaning walls, doors, partitions, etc
• Dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming
• Cleaning and restocking chalkboards and whiteboards
• Cleaning and disinfecting sinks, toilets, showers, and mirrors
• Cleaning windows and stairwells/handrails

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Are able to stand, walk, squat, climb, push, pull, and lift as required by the position
• Have a High School Diploma or GED
• Have prior experience in janitorial or cleaning positions (a plus!)
