What You’ll Do

As a Bright Bee facilities associate, you’ll support students in local schools—helping keep their environments clean and safe or working to support their nutrition in the cafeteria.
The more sites and assignment types you are open to working, the more your earning potential is
. Bright Bee recruits candidates (that’s you!) to support local schools and nonprofits. You will use our Bright Bee app to claim assignments at schools/non‑profits in your area and get paid a week later. Our goal is simple: help schools succeed and give workers the tools they need to grow in their careers.

• Work 2–5 days per week
• Typical Shifts (candidates will need to have full day availability at least 2 days/week)

A hive is a geographical region of multiple school districts and sites that you (as a Bee) will be able to claim assignments at. These assignments could be as short as a single day or as long as multiple week/months. You should be willing/able to commute to various school sites in West Cleveland area to be considered.

We’re recruiting facilities candidates for North Ridgeville to support school operations with flexible summer schedules and opportunities for consistent, longer‑term work. Please note that these roles are structured as 1099 independent contractor positions.

• You’re dependable, consistent, and show up ready to work
• You’re comfortable with physical work and being on your feet
• You take pride in creating clean, safe spaces for students

• You’re looking for flexible and/or consistent work (several of our single day assignments convert to long‑term opportunities)

PLEASE NOTE:

Costs associated with the clearance process are the sole responsibility of the candidate, as this engagement is for an independent contractor role rather than a traditional employment position. Requirements vary by state but may include the cost of a background check, obtaining a copy of any college transcript you have, and the cost of completing Mandated Reporter training.
The average cost of completing clearance in Ohio for facilities is $130.

Please note, assignments may require the ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods of time.

$16.50 - $23 an hour
