Maintenance Supervisor

Pay Range: $88,000 - $95,000/year (Direct Hire) (Compensation can be higher depending on experience)
Position Summary:
Seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance operations within a high-volume automotive manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for reducing equipment downtime, overseeing preventive maintenance programs, supervising maintenance technicians, and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of plant equipment. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership experience, process troubleshooting expertise, and a background in automated manufacturing systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate daily activities of the maintenance team to maximize equipment uptime and production efficiency.
- Oversee electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical repairs while ensuring preventative maintenance is completed on schedule.
- Assign work, manage technician schedules, and track labor hours through the payroll system.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards throughout the facility.
- Manage contractors during equipment installations, repairs, and upgrades.
- Support employee training, workforce development, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 8-10 years of process control and troubleshooting experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Experience supervising maintenance personnel in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of PLCs, industrial automation, and integrated manufacturing systems.
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced production environment.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Rockwell and Omron PLCs.
- Experience with ABB and FANUC robotics.
- Background in automotive manufacturing, plating operations, or high-volume production environments.
- Knowledge of ISO 14001, IATF 16949, ISO 9001, Lockout/Tagout, and hazardous materials procedures.
- Experience leading maintenance programs focused on equipment reliability and continuous improvement.
