Floor Tech (Strip/wax/buff/carpets)

DAYS:

(Monday - Friday) Occasional OT

HOURS:

2nd shift (3:00 pm - 10:00 pm)

PAY RATE:

$21.06 hr

PAY FREQUENCY:

Bi-Weekly

Primary Duties:

• Operates various types of equipment used for floor care maintenance, such as automatic scrubbers, floor machines, and wet/dry vacuums
• Performs preventative maintenance checks on all equipment prior to use
• Provides floor care, including buffing and burnishing on hard surfaces
• Provides floor maintenance, including but not limited to stripping, waxing, buffing, shampooing, bonneting and extracting carpets
• Move furniture and other heavy objects
• Comply with all safety requirements and procedures at all times
• Perform other cleaning duties as specified by management

Additional Requirements:

• Must be able to comply with and pass a federal background check as required by the contract
• Submit and pass a pre-employment drug screen
• Have a valid driver's license
• Personal vehicle with current insurance coverage
• Must be able to physically move through the worksite
• Must be able to lift 40 lbs.
• Must be able to stand for long periods as well as stoop, squat, lift, carry, and push
• Must wear protective equipment, such as latex gloves and safety glasses, according to OSHA regulations.
• Ability to work independently
• Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions
