Handy Porter

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Handy Porter to maintain the cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of a commercial property. The ideal candidate will have experience with janitorial work and basic building maintenance and repairs.

• Perform general cleaning of common areas, restrooms, hallways, offices, and other assigned spaces
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and remove trash
• Complete minor repairs, including painting, patching walls, replacing light bulbs, and assembling or moving furniture
• Assist with basic plumbing repairs, such as unclogging toilets and addressing minor leaks
• Inspect the property and report maintenance or safety concerns
• Maintain entrances, sidewalks, parking areas, and exterior grounds
• Set up rooms or common areas as requested
• Keep tools, equipment, and supply areas clean and organized
• Respond promptly to work orders and requests from management
• Follow all company and property safety procedures
• Assist with snow and ice removal when required
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Valid Driver’s License with a reliable driving record.
• Flexibility to be on call for urgent maintenance needs.
• Hands-on experience using basic hand/power tools and small commercial/mechanical equipment.
• Physical ability to regularly lift and carry items up to 75 lbs.
• Proficient with work order management systems and basic computer skills.
• Functional literacy and numeracy skills to inspect delivery notes, double-check measurements, and track inventory.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
