Housekeeper, Maintenance​/Cleaning

Industry leading property management company seeks housekeeper for a beautiful residential community, serving a diverse group of residents. Housekeepers play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and upkeep of our community by cleaning and caring for common areas, shared spaces, unit turns, offices, etc. Applicants should demonstrate strong attention to detail, a friendly and professional demeanor, and possess excellent communication skills.

Applicants must be able to physically perform cleaning tasks, including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods of time, as well as carry various supplies to various heights on the stairs or ladder.

• Common Areas: Thoroughly clean shared spaces including entryways, lobbies, elevators, windows, laundry machines, flooring, baseboards, handrails, light fixtures, offices, clubhouse, etc. Restock supplies, such as paper products and cleaning supplies, in designated areas. Remove bulk mail and empty trash cans. Assist with other grounds tasks as needed, including planting flowers, removing weeds, watering, etc.
• Vacant Apartments: Thoroughly empty apartments in preparation for new move-ins, including appliances, cabinets, bathrooms, kitchens, floors, ceiling fans/lights, windows, carpeting, etc.
• Operational Support: May assist in leasing office with general office work (answering phones, filing, etc.) as needed. Help at other Princeton properties as needed.
• Compliance & Reporting: Identify and notify management of any maintenance issues, damages, or repairs needed involving the employees, residents, or property. Deliver notices and door hangers to residents. Follow established health and safety guidelines to maintain a clean and hazard-free environment. Properly and safely use various chemicals and cleaning supplies and always take necessary safety precautions.
• Core Competencies: Professionally communicate with contractors, vendors, and residents. Provide exceptional customer service to residents and promptly address any cleaning-related concerns or requests. Must possess a positive attitude, good communication skills, sound decision making, and attention to detail. Must be organized and able to prioritize. Be able to work independently and as part of a team.
