Laundry Aide Housekeeper

Job Description:

• Operate laundry equipment and machinery such as commercial washers, dryers, and ironing or pressing machines, following safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Sort, wash, dry, and fold laundry items including linens, towels, clothing, and other textiles, ensuring proper handling of delicate fabrics and stain treatment.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including laundry rooms, storage areas, and equipment, and ensure supplies are adequately stocked.
• Inspect laundry items for stains, damages, or wear and report issues to supervisors.
• Follow health, safety, and sanitation regulations, including proper handling of chemicals and adherence to facility policies.
• Support team members and perform additional duties as assigned to meet the facility’s laundry service demands.

• Education:
  
  High school diploma or GED. Preferred but not required.
• Experience:
  
  Entry level (0–2 years). Prior experience in laundry, cleaning, or dry cleaning is advantageous.
• Skills:
  
  Attention to detail, organizational skills, teamwork, and basic knowledge of laundry care and equipment operation.
