Job Overview
Custodian I, 2nd Shift
Location:
Clinton Community College (20)
Shift: Monday – Friday, 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm
Salary:
Starting range is $16.25 – $19.09 hourly
EICC is seeking 3 second‑shift custodians for our Clinton campus. Under direction, performs routine custodial duties as required to clean and keep orderly assigned areas in buildings and adjacent areas. Follows prescribed written or oral procedures in performance of duties and fills in as necessary for absent custodians on the same shift.
ResponsibilitiesProlonged periods standing. Must be able to lift, bend, stoop, climb, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
QualificationsRequired Qualifications:
Some prior experience in custodial work is desirable. Other abilities and knowledge required include knowledge of the methods, materials, and equipment used in cleaning various types of building surfaces and items of furniture; ability to maintain schedules providing for regular cleaning of all facilities assigned; ability to carry out oral and written instructions; ability to work cooperatively with others. A valid driver’s license is required.
