General Description

The Outside Maintenance Staff is under the direct supervision of the Outside Maintenance Supervisor. The Outside Maintenance position is considered a Safety Sensitive Position. The Outside Maintenance Staff will be responsible for cleanliness and maintenance of all exterior areas of casino to include lawn maintenance care.

Work Schedule

• Requires morning, afternoon and evenings. Monday through Sunday.
• Request to be scheduled off for a specific day requires advance notification and approval by supervisor.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure overall cleanliness and maintenance of exterior, maintenance equipment, tools and machinery in accordance to Lucky Star standards.
• Perform grounds keeping and building maintenance duties.
• Mow lawn by hand or using a riding lawnmower.
• Landscape by planting flowers, grass, shrubs and bushes.
• Cut down tree limbs that are posing a danger.
• Stripe (paint) parking lots.
• Collect and remove litter and other debris on property.
• Responsible for routine daily checks of equipment and machinery.
• Maintain inventory control of maintenance supplies, tools and electrical/mechanical equipment as needed.
• Operates tools/equipment and use of chemicals in a safe manner.
• Participate in training & operates in accordance to Lucky Star Standards.
• Must exhibit STAR treatment to all customers and employees.
• Other duties as assigned.

Physical Job Requirements

• Stand continuously with some sitting and perform job functions for a full shift with lunch break.
• Requires bending, twisting, reaching, climbing, stooping, crouching, kneeling, lifting and pulling.
• Required to wear fluorescent vest or jacket.
• Move objects up to and exceeding 80lbs. with reasonable accommodations.

Qualification Standards

• Must pass pre-employment drug test.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
