Maintenance Technician / Mechanic, Facility Maintenance
inside maintenance staff is under the direct supervision of the maintenance supervisor.
qualification standards
- entry level
- must be able to pass drug screen.
work schedule
- requires morning, afternoon and evenings. Monday through sunday.
- request to be scheduled off for a specific day requires advance notification and approval by department manager/director and/or general manager.
essential duties and responsibilities
- maintain the appearance of casino, inside and out.
- pick up and empty all trash receptacle and ashtrays.
- wipe down and clean machines.
- dust all machines, signs & televisions.
- clean and stock all restrooms and janitor closets with supplies and maintain throughout the day.
- keep all maintenance equipment in working condition.
- pick up trash and empty outside trash containers.
- sweep sidewalks of trash and debris.
- all duties are not listed, as this is only an overview of your duties, you will assist in other areas as the needed.
physical job requirements
- sit and/or stand continuously and perform job functions for a full shift with lunch break
- requires bending, twisting, reaching, climbing, stooping, crouching, kneeling, lifting, pulling and finger dexterity
- move objects up to and exceeding 25lbs. With reasonable accommodations
- casino environment (exposure to cigarette, cigar, pipe smoke; bright flashing lights; loud mechanical noises and crowds)
