Closed Molded Infusion Technician

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Infusion Technician is responsible for the proper glass thickness and glass-to-resin ratio on infused: small parts, lids, consoles, finders, stringers, decks, and hulls. The technician is also responsible for ensuring the quality of the finished part and providing leadership for the crew.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

* Distributes properly catalyzed resin evenly into injection ports.

* Helps train new team members as well as helping all team members stay focused and motivated.

* Ensures the crew starts up on time at the beginning of the shift.

* Observes and adjusts the catalyst level as environmental conditions require.

* Performs daily cleaning and minor maintenance routines of equipment, spray guns, and bags.

* ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED

EXPERIENCE/

QUALIFICATIONS:

* Minimum Degree

Required:

High School Diploma or Equivalent

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:

* Ability to work as a Team

* Ability to read and follow written Instruction

* Ability to troubleshoot

* Coordination simultaneously

* Ability to distinguish basic colors/shades

* Hearing (aid permitted)

* Must have no fiberglass allergies
