Johnson Controls Inc. is looking for forward‑thinking talent to join our organization to support the fast‑growing HVAC business in North America. The role involves providing customers with high‑level service to solve facility inefficiencies and resolve service‑related items, acting as a trusted advisor during commissioning and aftermarket service, recommending solutions to ensure efficient operation—including upselling opportunities—and providing quotes.

• Must be a member or willing to join the United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices of the Plumbing and Pipe Fitting Industry of the United States and Canada, AFL‑CIO.
• Minimum of three (3) years of practical working experience on residential and/or ducted products, air‑cooled and/or water‑cooled chillers, AHUs or rooftop ducted units with strong HVAC/mechanical troubleshooting experience.
• Ability to repair centrifugal compressors, steam turbines, and screw chiller system components.
• Travel may be required 10% to 20% to support branch customers startup and commissioning activities as well as aftermarket service troubleshooting.
• Ability to write and communicate to the customer problem, cause, and corrective actions.
• Universal EPA refrigerants license, applicable state or local licensing, and valid driver’s license.
• Pass a knowledge examination to assess proficiencies.

Provide training through JCI’s Service Technical Academy (STA) and other programs to gain knowledge in HVAC products and sales quoting. Opportunity to invest in career development by working collaboratively with local market mechanics.

• This is a bargaining‑unit position.
• Pay Range: $39.92 hourly rate determined by the CBA/rate sheet.
• Benefits are provided through a local labor union aligned with a collective bargaining agreement.
