Position Summary

This job opportunity is a bona fide, full‑time temporary position for 34 Housekeepers/Maids from 3/30/2026 to 10/15/2026 with Quin Blair Enterprises, Inc., 1701 Sheridan Ave, Cody, WY 82414. For additional information, call  x661.

Responsibilities
  • Perform any combination of light cleaning duties to maintain hotel rooms in a clean and orderly manner.
  • Duties include making beds, replenishing linens, cleaning rooms and halls, vacuuming, sorting dirty linen, folding and sorting clean linen, recording damaged or stained linens.
  • May operate washers and dryers after appropriate training.
  • Hard‑working, detail‑oriented, with a positive attitude when working with others.
  • Expected to clean 13 rooms per day, approximately one room every 30 minutes.
  • Lift or carry up to 50 pounds.
Qualifications

No experience or education required. Four days of on‑the‑job training will be provided.

Work Schedule

35 hours per week; 08:00 AM – 03:00 PM, Monday‑Sunday. Extended daily hours and weekends are required. Days and shifts will vary. Employees will work five days a week with weekend requirements.

Compensation

Hourly rate: $16.75. Overtime rate: $25.13 per hour (time and a half for hours above 40 per week, though overtime is not guaranteed). Raises and bonuses are at the employer’s discretion and may be based on experience and performance. Payment is bi‑weekly on the 8th and 22nd of each month. A single workweek will be used for wage calculations.

Benefits and Other Conditions
  • Employer‑paid drug test (post‑accident for new hires) and employer‑paid post‑hire criminal background check.
  • Shared housing available only to seasonal full‑time employees; not offered to non‑employees. Employees may arrange their own housing at their own expense.
  • Employer‑provided housing is charged at $75.00 per week, with utilities included. The employer may deduct reasonable housing costs based on the number of occupants for workers who elect this option.
  • Deductions: only those required by law, as well as cash advances, wage over payment repayment, voluntary deductions in writing, and recovery of employer loss (exceeding normal wear and tear or loss of equipment for which the worker is responsible). No deduction will bring earnings below the FLSA minimum wage.
  • Return transportation and daily subsistence paid or provided if the worker completes the employment period or is dismissed early by the employer.
  • Outbound transportation will be paid or provided at the most economical and reasonable common carrier rates.
  • Employer will reimburse the H‑2B worker during the first workweek for visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related government‑mandated fees (excluding passport expenses or other worker‑benefit charges).
  • Employer provides all required tools, supplies, and equipment at no charge.
Travel and Housing Reimbursement

For eligible workers, inbound travel costs not already advanced will be reimbursed not later than 50% of the work period, or with the first paycheck if applicable under FLSA. Inbound travel includes transportation from the worker’s permanent residence or recruitment location to the place of employment, daily subsistence for meals, and reasonable lodging costs (if applicable). Reimbursements are based on actual costs, not to exceed the most economical common commercial carrier transportation costs.

Subsistence is reimbursed at rates specified in the Federal Register Daily: $16.28 per day minimum, $68 per day maximum with receipts.
