Shift RequirementsMon through Fri, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Responsibilities- Service DX (Laboratory Diagnostics) Equipment in the Ft Collins, CO & Cheyenne, WY area. Customer Service Engineer Level based on prior experience.
- Install, troubleshoot, repair and perform preventative maintenance on all Siemens Healthcare systems at customer sites with minimal supervision.
- Deliver timely and effective repairs and provide adequate training of operators to ensure optimal system performance, resulting in superior customer satisfaction.
- Manage financial performance within your territory, meeting or exceeding budget for revenue generation, expense control, and inventory management.
- Manage company assets including a company car, cell phone, computer, tools, inventory parts, etc.
- Establish and maintain proper business relationships with customers and peers, and perform necessary administrative duties accurately.
- Experience performing service, preventative maintenance, and modifications on DX Equipment at customer sites with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency in establishing and maintaining business relationships with customers and peers, and performing necessary administrative duties accurately.
- Experience in testing, repairing, and maintaining capital medical equipment.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Proficient in the use of tools and service test equipment.
- General understanding of the principles of electricity, power supplies, and grounding.
- Minimum high school diploma;
Technical Associate's Degree or equivalent preferred. - Proficient in the use of tools and service test equipment, ability to work both individually and in an established team setting.
- Proficiency in network applications and tools (including eVO, mButler, MS Office, Concur, NAM Customer Service website – Engineer Tools).
- 5+ years of experience as a medical technologist or field service engineer (biomedical engineer) servicing diagnostic instruments.
- Valid driver's license, ability to drive independently day and night, and good driving record.
- Physical requirements:
lifting 50 lbs (floor to above waist/head), walking, ladder/stepstool climbing, bending, twisting, sitting work, squatting work, standing work, high‑reach, fine grasping manipulation, good vision, and ability to work alone. - Excellent judgment in customer relations and in managing company resources; strong competency in instrument systems technology to include mechanics, electrical, chemistry, and software; experience with electronics, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
