TAMU – 600 Agronomy Road, College Station, TX 77843. Other school district locations available. Full‑time schedule:
Monday through Friday, 4:00 AM or 6:00 AM start. Hours may vary and additional details are provided during the interview. Online applications only.
Floor Technician is responsible for floor maintenance, restoration, and the operation of industrial floor care equipment.
Essential Functions- Maintain knowledge of hard‑surface floor maintenance principles and use proper procedures for stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing.
- Operate various types of industrial floor care equipment.
- Utilize automated equipment for cleaning large floor areas.
- Apply proper procedures for carpet and upholstery care, including shampooing, damp surface cleaning, extraction, spot cleaning, and vacuuming.
- Perform maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types.
- Carry out additional duties as assigned by the manager.
- Preferred experience as a floor care technician or in a related role.
- Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques.
- Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. frequently.
