Responsible for the daily operations of the arena, including butnot limited to ice maintenance, cleaning, event set up/break down,equipment repairs and upkeep, and all other assigned duties to maintain the safe and effective operation of Schneider Arena. Responsible for compliance with all NCAA and Providence College rules and regulations.

• High school diploma
• At least two years of experience in an arena or sports venuewith familiarity in ice equipment and operation or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong customer service skills required
• Knowledge of ice arena operations, activities, and maintenance
• Knowledge of basic computer tasks and email correspondence
• Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety principals and procedures
• Ability to work independently or with others to accomplish assigned tasks
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers
• Ability to walk, stand, kneel, sit, or bend for prolonged periods of time
• Ability to maintain a physical condition necessary to operate equipment effectively and to perform moderate to heavy lifting
• Ability to work nights and weekends
