Position SummaryAt Morningside, our Housekeepers help create the warm, welcoming feeling that makes our communities feel like home. As a Housekeeper, you'll take pride in maintaining clean, comfortable apartments and common areas for the residents and families who count on us every day.

Key Responsibilities- Cleaning & Apartment Readiness
- Perform general cleaning assignments in apartments, hallways, and common areas.
- Prepare apartments for move-in as assigned.
- Participate in annual cleaning schedules.
- Safety & Equipment Care
- Use cleaning chemicals properly and safely in accordance with department guidelines.
- Keep housekeeping carts and vacuums clean and in good working order.
- Participate in the energy awareness program.
- Help maintain a safe working environment through the prevention of accidents and the preservation of equipment.
- Team & Community Standards
- Inform your supervisor of any pertinent resident issues or concerns.
- Bring a positive, professional attitude to interactions with residents, visitors, families, and fellow team members.
- Attend required training and stay current with Morningside's standards, policies, and procedures.
The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and takes pride in creating a clean, comfortable home for residents.
Education & Experience- High School Diploma or GED; or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Comfortable performing hands-on cleaning tasks throughout the day.
- Strong attention to detail and consistent cleaning standards.
- Safe, proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Respectful, discreet presence while working in and around residents' homes.
- Positive, professional demeanor with residents, families, and coworkers.
