What You'll Do:
  • Perform floor care and routine cleaning (dusting, disinfecting furniture, fixtures, equipment, hallways, and common areas) to maintain a clean environment.
  • Empty and clean waste receptacles daily.
  • Clean, restock, and maintain restroom supplies.
  • Move and arrange furniture and assist with room setups for programs and activities.
  • Assist in unloading delivery trucks as needed.
  • Follow proper sanitation methods and safely use cleaning products to uphold cleanliness standards and prevent infection.
  • Operate housekeeping equipment such as scrubbers, burnishers, extractors and perform advanced floor care such as stripping and finishing floors.
What You'll Need:
  • High School Diploma or GED (required)
  • 18 years of age or older (required)
  • Prior experience in floor care including stripping and finishing floors (required)
  • Previous experience in a janitorial role (required)
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language
