Warehouse Technician

Job Focus:
Inspect, clean, repair, troubleshoot, and prepare gaming, amusement, and ATM equipment for field deployment or decommissioning.

• Ensure quality and integrity of all incoming and outgoing equipment.
• Move video gaming terminals, ticket redemption machines, ATMs, amusement equipment, and related gear between transport trucks, warehouse storage, and preparation areas.
• Obtain forklift certification and use non-powered dollies, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
• Disassemble obsolete or damaged equipment, then test and clean removed parts.
• Inspect, test, troubleshoot, clean, and perform repairs on electronic gaming devices, ticket redemption machines, ATMs, amusement equipment, machine parts, and related components.
• Install and remove locks on video gaming terminals, ticket redemption machines, ATMs, and amusement devices.
• Identify and troubleshoot all malfunctions to perform necessary repairs of electronic devices and equipment.
• Communicate inventory needs for equipment to ensure minimal downtime and quick turnaround of product.
• Observe all safety regulations and report unsafe conditions to management.
• Follow all department, company, and state policies and procedures.
• Perform additional duties such as parts oversight, camera related initiatives, and installation of gaming and amusement equipment.
• Prioritize customer satisfaction and deliver a positive experience to both internal and external customers.

• 2 years of electronic technical training preferred.
• 2 years of slot technician/video gaming terminal, ATM, or amusement equipment experience, including installation, maintenance, and repair of electronic systems and equipment.
• Ability to understand basic electronic theory and mechanics.
• Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, test equipment, and instruments.
• Capability to operate forklifts, non-powered dollies, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow.
• Ability to work independently and as part of various teams and committees.
• Versatility and willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
• Minimum age 21 years.
• Ability to obtain and/or maintain a Terminal Handler’s License from the Illinois Gaming Board.

Frequently required to stand, sit, walk, talk, and hear. Continually required to use hand and finger dexterity, including keyboard use. Frequently required to lift/push weights up to 1,100 pounds. Frequently required to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel, or crawl. Specific vision abilities required include close, distance, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust or focus. Exposure to hot and/or humid conditions and moving mechanical parts.

Noise level is usually moderate.

• Base Pay Range: $21–$24 per hour, dependent on qualifications, experience, and skill set.
