Shift & Pay

Second Shift: 12:00 PM - 8:30 PM (Thursday - Monday). Pay Rate: $15.50/hour.

Temporary Mall Janitor – A mall janitor keeps the shopping center clean, safe, and welcoming by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming floors, emptying trash, cleaning/sanitizing restrooms, wiping surfaces, and handling spills. Often working early mornings or after‑hours using equipment like floor buffers and reporting major issues to management.

• Floor Care: Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors in common areas, food courts, and hallways, addressing spills immediately.
• Restroom Maintenance: Thoroughly clean, sanitize, and restock all supplies (soap, paper towels, toilet paper) in public restrooms.
• Trash & Recycling: Collect and empty trash receptacles and recycling bins throughout the mall.
• Surface Cleaning: Dust, wipe down, and disinfect counters, tables, railings, and other frequently touched surfaces.
• Health & Safety: Use safety cones for wet floors, follow chemical handling guidelines, and maintain a safe environment.

• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment (floor buffers, vacuums).
• Strong attention to detail and time‑management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good physical stamina, including the ability to lift, stand, and be on one's feet for the duration of the shift that includes a lot of walking.
• Adherence to company policies, safety protocols, and schedules (often nights or weekends).
