Floor Tech

We are seeking experienced Full Time (2nd shift Monday-Friday,3:00pm-11:00pm) Floor Techs to support the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, CO. Floor Techs will be responsible for the overall floor maintenance of hard surface and carpet (stripping, waxing, buffing, shampooing, extraction & bonneting) of areas that include:
Mopping, Deep Scrubbing Tile Floors, Steam cleaning carpet/furniture, Buffing hard floor surfaces, Strip/Wax hard floor surfaces. Job duties consist of working with floor care equipment such as Electric Floor Scrubber, Buffers, Auto Scrubbers/Ride on Auto Scrubbers. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of (2) years' experience in floor care. and perform services in a large facilities with heavy traffic flow.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to sit, stand, reach, bend and stoop for extended periods of time;
Ascending/Descending stairs and required to move equipment weighing up to 20 pounds frequently;
May be required to lift up to 30 lbs.
