Team Lead for Custodians

Cleans and keeps work sites, restrooms, and exterior areas of offices, shops, and other occupied areas in orderly condition in accordance with contract requirements. Responsible for assigning and overseeing work by personnel assigned to the individual’s area of responsibility. Performs daily inspection of assigned areas, including outside buildings. Makes independent decisions and ensures that all necessary corrections are made, seeking support from next level management as necessary to ensure that services performed are in accordance with contract requirements and company policy.

• Orient new employees, including explaining their duties, taking them on a familiarization tour, and assigning them worksheets for reference.
• Indoctrinate employees in procedures for reporting and responding to fires, hazardous conditions, and items requiring immediate repair.

• Responsible for ensuring that the company-issued pager (if assigned) is carried and is operational during assigned work hours for communication with supervisor and the office staff.
