Hot Tub Technician

Full-Time | W2 | Field-Based | Colorado Springs, CO

$25/hour + Mileage Reimbursement

Renjoy manages 200+ vacation homes across Colorado Springs, and the hot tub is one of the first things a guest notices — and one of the last things they forget. You'll own the condition, cleanliness, and chemical balance of every hot tub across our portfolio, ensuring every unit is safe, guest-ready, and documented to standard before anyone steps in.

This is detail-driven, self-managed field work. You'll move independently between properties, make real-time calls on water chemistry and equipment condition, and elevate what needs escalating — without waiting to be told. A valid Colorado driver's license and reliable personal vehicle are required. Mileage is reimbursed.

• Photograph and rate the initial cleanliness of each hot tub upon arrival

• Remove, inspect, and rinse filters to clear debris and buildup

• Deep clean filters when required per Renjoy property standards

• Replace filters that are damaged, excessively worn, or no longer effective

• Reinstall filters securely after every cleaning or replacement

• Record filter model number, unit year, make, model, and serial number — document all actions taken

• Photograph the filter after every cleaning or replacement

• Inspect and rate the condition of the hot tub cover and record make and serial number

• Test and confirm all jets are functioning properly

• Determine whether a full water dump is needed and perform as required

• Test water chemistry using test strips and adjust as needed to meet safe, guest-ready standards

• Rate and photograph final water clarity

• Photograph the completed test strip for documentation

• Document any additional concerns — leaks, unusual noises, damaged components, missing parts, or items requiring follow-up

• Escalate unresolved or urgent issues to the Renjoy operations team the same day — no sitting on hard news

• Announce your presence upon arrival before beginning work

• Conduct all work professionally and respectfully — these are active rentals with guests potentially on-site

• Leave the hot tub area clean and undisturbed after every visit

You also:

• Are comfortable working independently across multiple properties daily and managing your own route

• Have an eye for equipment condition and a working understanding of water chemistry — or are eager to build it fast

• Are detail-oriented enough to document every visit completely and accurately

• Hold yourself to a high standard even when no one is watching

• Are comfortable using a smartphone app to log tasks, record findings, and submit documentation

• Hold a CPO certification — or are willing to complete the online Pool Training Academy course within your first two weeks

• Full-time, hourly | W2

• $25/hour

• Schedule includes some weekend availability — hot tubs don't take days off
