Position Summary:

As a "Aggregate Equipment Operator" your general responsibilities will be 1. Manage and execute loadout of boulders, rip rap, and other aggregate products at both the Young Ranch located in Central City, CO. This requires attention to detail and strong customer service skills.
2. Work with our management team to execute special projects (earthwork, yard improvements, site development, aggregate processing, other). We make construction aggregates for both internal use in asphalt and concrete and decorative aggregate for our retail customers.

Functional Responsibilities:

• Primary responsibility involves the safe and skilled operation of the front-end loaders, track excavators, and track dozers

• Must have strong communication skills. This position requires consistent coordination with our sales and operations teams, along with customer interaction

• Strong understanding and daily compliance with Brannan safety standards and policies as they relate to this position

• Daily compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations and policies

• The operator is responsible for the efficient working condition of the equipment and is expected to perform thorough pre-trip + post-trip inspections daily

• Assists in maintenance and repairs of the plant, conduct daily safety walk around making sure the plant is in safe working condition

• Ensure consistent adherence to quality specifications

• Must work to always achieve customer satisfaction

• Multi-task in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure and professionalism

• Ability to detect safety hazards and equipment malfunctions and respond accordingly

• Ability to follow directions

• Performs other related duties as assigned

• Must have a "safety first" attitude. Strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures is required

• Display a professional and courteous attitude to co-workers, supervisors, and the public at all times

• Ability to work various hours with overtime

Qualifications:

• 4+ years loader and excavator experience. Must be able to operate excavator using all attachments.

• General knowledge of working around large aggregate mines and equipment.

• Must be at least 18 years of age

• Must have a Valid Driver's License

• Must have flexibility for overtime

• Show up to work every day punctually.

• No use of cell phones during work shifts

• Must be safety-minded, team-oriented and customer-focused

• Detail and technically oriented individual

• Must be self-motivated with ability to perform duties with minimal supervision

• Excellent time management skills; good planning skills; able to multi-task

• Able to work in outdoor setting under varying weather conditions
