Overview

Public Works Maintenance I. Town of Silt is looking for a team player to fill the full-time position of Public Works Maintenance I. This semi-skilled labor position includes maintenance and construction work on municipal buildings, streets, utility systems, grounds, and related facilities. Light equipment operation is a requirement of this position; some heavy equipment operation may apply.

• Perform maintenance and construction work on municipal buildings, streets, utility systems, grounds, and related facilities.
• Operate light equipment; some heavy equipment operation may be required.

• At least 1 year of experience in maintenance or construction work with knowledge of the safe and efficient operation of light and heavy equipment.
• Knowledge of general construction and maintenance methods and materials preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Colorado Driver’s License.

Starting salary $21.78 to $31.12/hour, plus full benefit package.
