Maintenance Technician / Mechanic
$33.97 - $44.14 Rate of pay dependent on competency, experience, qualifications and skills
Job DescriptionThis position is responsible for troubleshooting, preventative maintenance and on the spot repairs of general plant mechanical equipment in a safe and efficient manner. This position is key in our organization. We are one team. As such, we require flexibility in job duties. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications- Knowledge of mechanical components, electrical controls and fluid power to diagnose machine breakdowns
- Ability to maintain and repair a variety of complex machinery
- Experience with wide variety of tools (hand & power)
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to work in a safe manner in all types of conditions and circumstances
- Must be able to work any assigned shifts as needed, day or night
- Actively demonstrate and participate in plant safety programs
- Sitting, standing, walking, lifting and/or repetitive tasks throughout the day. Employee will be required to occasionally lift up to 60 lbs.

4 day work week (standard). Rotation to night shift every 8-10 weeks based on maintenance staffing levels. Overtime-weekend-holiday work possible.
