Responsible for the maintenance, cleaning and upkeep of the buildings and grounds. Responsible for hard floor, carpet care and upkeep in all school District facilities. Develops and promotes good community relations among various community and school clientele. Essential physical requirements include frequent lifting twenty (20) to fifty (50) pounds, occasional lifting fifty (50) to one hundred (100) pounds, frequent extensive walking, bending, reaching, stooping, climbing, kneeling, and occasional squatting, standing, sitting, crawling.

Essential environmental demands include mostly clean and comfortable conditions, occasional dirt and dust, temperature extremes, noise, some hazardous materials and situations, some odors and fumes.

Responsibilities include ensuring the general safety of the public by removing snow and ice from walkways, entries and play areas as required, promoting the learning environment by performing maintenance, cleaning, and setup requests within custodial responsibilities generated by building staff, supporting facility operations by responding to emergency needs such as water mitigation, graffiti, and custodial vacancies, specializing in restorative care for all floor surfaces, supporting district needs by flexible shift times, performing general repairs as assigned, contributing to the overall success of district facilities by performing other essential duties and responsibilities as assigned, sanitizing, disinfecting school desks and playground equipment at all times, performing other related duties as assigned or requested, ensuring the overall cleanliness, maintenance and sanitation of the facility, grounds and equipment maintaining a high standard of safety and efficiency, supporting all scheduling and coordinating with group leader and building administrator, work activities of custodial personnel and contact services as assigned, utilizing positive techniques to supervise and evaluate assigned personnel, supporting all district sustainability policies, exhibiting a working knowledge of facility operations including electrical, gas/water controls and heating ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC) systems and related equipment, assisting all emergency operations personnel as required, and ensuring all inspections on building, ground and equipment are done weekly or as assigned.

Certifications include Colorado driver’s license
- Colorado Dept of Transportation. Education required is high school or equivalent. Position type is regular. Primary location is West Building A - O&M Offices. This position is not one year only. Scheduled hours per week are 40. FTE is 1.00. Approximate scheduled days per year are 260 work days. Minimum hire rate is $21.62 USD hourly. Maximum hire rate is $28.97 USD hourly.

Full salary range is $21.62 USD - $36.32 USD hourly. All salary amounts listed above are based on a full-time (1.0) FTE. If applicable, part-time salaries will be prorated according to the assigned FTE.
