Primary responsibilities include repairing vehicles using appropriate tools, technologies, and procedures to restore the vehicle to proper working conditions, seeking ways to improve business operation efficiencies and customer service, and being a teacher to support the efforts of other employees to be successful. Reports to the Service Manager.
Essential job functions include ensuring maximum production and customer service, operating with integrity, and meeting physical demands such as sitting, standing, bending, reaching, lifting up to 100lbs, and exposure to shop environments.
Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, 1+ years of progressive experience in automotive service, valid driver's license, applicable factory training credentials, and ASE certification. Skills include active learning, communication, critical thinking, repairing, troubleshooting, quality control analysis, and resolving conflicts and negotiating with others.
General standards include adaptability, selective attention, making decisions and solving problems, interpersonal skills, management of personnel resources, leadership, compliance, customer service, ethics/integrity, oral communication, planning/organizing, quality, dependability, and time management.
