Custodial Services

At the full performance level (WL-06) the major duties of this position include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Clean restrooms, housing, dorm areas, offices, visitor centers, and workshops.
  • Monitor supply inventories and coordinate with supervisor to replenish supplies.
  • Serve as a backup to the supervisor in purchasing supplies and services to support a custodial operation.
  • Assist supervisor in the hiring, onboarding, and training of new employees.
  • Perform minor maintenance, repairs, and service to gas powered blowers and sprayers.
  • Enforce safety standards for front country and backcountry operations.
  • Lead other employees to ensure standards of service are maintained.
