Responsibilities- Remove all trash on a continuous basis through the casino and spa (e.g., floors between slot machines, trash receptacles).
- Operate and maintain various cleaning equipment and provide employees with cleaning equipment and premixed chemicals as required.
- Clean and maintain the outside appearance of the casino, including snow and ice removal.
- Monitor all parking lots, including the hotel lot, for trash removal, sweep cigarette trash, and empty outdoor smoking receptacles.
- Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors within the casino and spa.
- Clean, sanitize, and maintain guest and employee restrooms, ensuring they are stocked with personal products.
- Clean and sanitize spa treatment rooms, relaxation areas, locker rooms, lobby, wet rooms, pool deck, fitness center, yoga room, etc.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with safety procedures, using safety equipment and reporting unsafe conditions.
- Maintain reliable attendance, punctuality, and consistent presence during scheduled work hours.
- Maintain positive public relations with guests and employees while enhancing safety and providing a source of information for guests.
Demonstrated experience performing positively and achieving objective-based results; problem‑solving, organizing, and prioritizing work.
Education and ExperienceExperience in janitorial or housekeeping duties, specifically in a spa setting, is preferred.
Certificates, Licenses, RegistrationsSuccessful completion of hazardous material and blood borne pathogens training within 3‑6 months.
OtherSkills and Abilities
Knowledge and experience with floor care machines, such as buffers and extractors, is preferred.
Physical DemandsEssential duties involve performing physical exertion, including frequent brisk walking, climbing stairs, stooping, bending, stretching, reaching, pushing, kneeling, squatting, crouching, and standing for an entire shift with standard breaks. Periodic lifting of 50 to 75 pounds from floor to waist, then to shoulder, using standard cleaning chemicals. Work any day of the week; additional hours occasionally required.
Compensation and Benefits$18.00+ an hour based on experience. Overnight positions receive a shift differential.
