OVERVIEWBayfield School District is seeking a full time Activities Assistant to maintain the activities schedule for the District in order to provide to the students and community the most efficient and safest use of the facilities in view of the scheduled activity.

- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Demonstrates aptitude or competence for assigned responsibilities.
- Submit fingerprints for a criminal background check.
- Completed and submitted BSD on-line application.

- Coordinates work activities with the Athletic Directors, Principals, Administrative Assistant, and the Maintenance Director.
- Plans work schedule at least a week in advance.
- Keeps equipment in working order that is directly related to school activities.
- Responsible for setting up of athletic events and other activities as may be scheduled.
- Cleans up and monitors area(s) prior to, during, and after events.
- Must be vigilant of any conditions that may occur which could be unsafe during the event. Correct, if possible, or notify the coordinator of the event and the Maintenance Director, if required, of any unsafe conditions.
- Responsible for completion of work orders.
- Assist in opening buildings as sub for other maintenance personnel when directed
- Assist with snow removal.
- Reports immediately to the Principal any damage to school property.
- Moves furniture or equipment within buildings, if required, and upon direction of the Building Principal.
- Complies with local laws and procedures for the disposal of trash, rubbish, and waste.
- Takes part in training update as directed.
- On call for emergency repairs.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
