Job Title: Facilities Painter I, II, III

Salary: $28 - $32 per hour

Status: Full Time

• Read blueprints and instructions; examine surfaces to determine necessary work.
• Make on‑site preparations such as building scaffolding and covering fixtures.
• Prepare walls and other surfaces by scraping, sanding, and removing old paint.
• Fill cracks and holes with appropriate materials such as plaster.
• Mix paint and other materials to achieve the correct color or texture.
• Paint surfaces according to instructions using various tools.
• Apply varnish and other finishes.
• Calculate costs and negotiate prices.
• Take and adhere to all health and safety precautions.

• Proven experience as a painter.
• Excellent knowledge of painting materials and how to select, mix, and apply them.
• Solid knowledge of commercial and/or construction painting techniques.
• Aptitude in using appropriate tools such as brushes and caulking guns.
• Good basic math skills.
• Manual dexterity and excellent balance for work on scaffolding and ladders.
• Conscientious with great attention to detail.
• High school diploma; successful completion of an apprenticeship.
• Must be at least 21 years old and able to obtain and maintain a Colorado Gaming License.
