Utility Operator​/Maintenance

The Utility Operator operates a variety of equipment and performs multiple job functions in support of production operations.

• Operates a variety of heavy and light equipment and machines
• Conducts pre and post-trip inspections, identifying malfunctions and items in need of repair
• Perform assignments outlined by supervisors and standard procedures are followed in the performance of duties.
• Work is inspected daily for safety and economy in operation.
• Performs routine maintenance on equipment, such as lubricating, fueling, and cleaning.
• Will perform light maintenance on all equipment and tools
• Assists in keeping the work area clean and organized
• Attends and participates in safety toolbox talks, and other employee meetings/events
• Reports near misses or other safety incidents or accidents promptly, and in accordance with proper procedures.
• Adheres to all environmental and safety regulations
• Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.

• Education:
  
  High School diploma/GED
• Work Experience:
  
  A minimum of three (3) years of experience operating a haul truck, bobcat and forklift Experience in light maintenance to include electrical,pneumatic, hydraulic systems.
