Description:This position will fill in for custodians to maintainK-12 school buidling.

Job Summary:The Substitute Custodian/Lunchroom is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the school building. This may include any of the following responsibilities:

• Vaccuming and mopping
• Disinfecting classrooms, lockers, door handles, equipment, etc. (increased through the COVID-19 pandemic)
• Cleaning and restocking bathrooms
• Taking out trash
• Assisting with maintenance tasks
• Cleaning and disinfecting dishes, tables, and equipment in the cafeteria

Qualifications:The ideal candidate will have experience working in teams to accomplish a common goal. Custodial experience preferred.

We are a small isolated school district that serves around 160 students K-12. North Park itself is a rural ranching community that values education and hard work. This position is mostly indoors, but may require exiting the building for certain tasks.

The majority of the day will be spent standing, walking, lifting, and carrying objects. Must be able to lift 50+ pounds.

Contract

Terms:

The Substitute Custodian/Lunchroom must be available to work throughout the year(52 weeks/260 days) to assist with duties in the buidling.

Salary:The Substitute Custodian/Lunchroom is paid based on current salary schedule.

Salary: $14.89 Per Day
