Senior Testing, Adjusting, and Balancing Technician
Location:
Columbia, MD or York, PA. This role will visit client sites in the DMV area and may work from the office as needed. The technician will be involved in projects with our Property and Buildings Team, delivering HVAC testing, adjusting, and balancing for institutional clients.
- Testing, adjusting, and balancing to achieve proper operation of HVAC systems for institutional clients (hospitals, labs, higher education).
- Critical Space Testing to measure airflows and confirm room pressurization, calculating air change rates for existing healthcare clients.
- Pre-commissioning to confirm mechanical system installation per contract documents and owner’s specifications.
- Functional performance testing to exercise HVAC equipment through its paces, confirming systems operate per the design intent.
- Lead or supervise younger staff and lead quality control of deliverables.
- Drive team’s pipeline, following up with outstanding proposals.
- Engage with clients to schedule manpower for projects.
- High School Diploma.
- 9+ years of relevant testing and balancing field experience.
- NEBB Certified Technician.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- HVAC trade school training and/or certification.

CompensationExpected salary: $85,000 – $130,000 (based on education, experience, geography).
