Staff Application Engineer – onsite

Support the sale of Chiller products through the JCI HVAC System Branches as well as JCI sales/marketing personnel in export markets.
Provide pre-sale technical support, answering system level product application inquiries, generating special quotations, and supporting order execution.
Daily interaction with field sales personnel providing guidance on the application and installation of assigned Chiller Solutions equipment in HVAC systems.
Design and customize chiller systems tailored to data center environments, ensuring optimal cooling efficiency and energy utilization.
Effectively communicate and follow up with sales personnel, design engineers and product management teams to ensure customer requirements are clearly understood.

• Bachelor’s degree
• 10+ years of experience preferably in the HVAC industry or a related Chiller Technology field
• Knowledge of the principles of refrigeration systems and associated equipment
• Up to 15% travel is needed for factory visits, customer site visits and field visits related to training.

Demonstrates expertise in Chiller Systems Design and Application within HVAC environments, with a strong focus on customer requirements and technical support. Proven ability to communicate effectively with sales teams and engineers to ensure optimal product solutions.
