Environmental Services Floor Care Technician; Day Shift

Position: Environmental Services Floor Care Technician (Day Shift)
University of Missouri Health Care -  - Responsibilities:
Work with medical staff, other ancillary professional staff, departmental service staff, patients, visitors, and the general public. Use a high degree of professionalism focused on customer satisfaction at all times.;
Maintain proficiency in routine and periodic maintenance tasks to care for various hard floor surfaces including vinyl resilient tile and flooring, terrazzo, wood, and concrete.;
Upkeep projects include but are not limited to changing cubicle curtains and drapes, cleaning light fixtures and vents, cleaning occupied and discharged patient rooms, wall washing, transporting regular and medical waste, and other duties as assigned.;
Transport equipment within the facility to the job site and maintain equipment in a safe and clean condition.;
Follow proper infection control guidelines for the cleaning and disinfection of areas assigned and where necessary follow all body substance precautions and PPE guidelines.
